The circumference of a plate depends on its diameter.

The distance around the rim of a round plate (circumference) is as follows:

C = 2 x pi x r

WHERE:   C = Circumference
PI = 3.14159265359   (Use 3.14 for simplicity)
r = radius (which is 1/2 the diameter, which is the distance from one side to the other.  For example, a 10 inch plate would have a radius of 5)

a dental plate?? There are many plates! What kind do you want?

Sold to ROMOS! Enjoy your plate! May it forever be filled with goodies of your choice!

The circumference of a plate tells how many inches around it is. The diameter tells how many inches across it is.

Not all plates are round.
