Start your computer and log into Windows with any user account that has administrator credentials.

Click "Start" and type "control userpasswords2" into the search box and press "Enter" on your keyboard. This launches a window that allows you to recover and reset your administrator password.

Select the account that you want to reset the password for from the list of accounts.

Click the "Reset Password" button near the bottom of the window.

Type a new password in the "New Password" and "Confirm New Password" text boxes. Click "OK" to save the password. You have now recovered and reset the administrator password.
