I think it's scary to meet famous people. I have seen some at a distance but if they came close to me, I'd turn and walk away fast. I just wouldn't know what to say.
"Well, hello, Mr. Pitt. I REALLY enjoyed you in your first movie, Thelma and Louise. After that ... not so much.
Tad, my writing teacher ... I guess he's famous. I did know what to say to him. : )

Dennis is hilarious and a much smarter person than he lets on. It is a British thing.

I met most the French International football team at a hotel in Tunisia in 2010,they were staying there before the world cup. They were all very friendly , it was their auterage that were the problem.

    hector5559

Did you upset thier auterage then, sunny??
    sunnyB

No we didn't, they wanted to take the whole hotel over, some of them behaved like thugs. As I said the players were fine ,talking to people and having photographs taken. A lot of them play for English teams don't they, so they were family friendly.

    who's he ?

Dodging fame remains a passion of mine. Lots of other folk seek wealth and fame.  I am delighted to tell them how while avoiding fame personally. There are many others who agree with me on this issue. We do not need many people competing for attention because fame and infamy go side by side. It is a struggle for many who seek recognition not to fowl their reputation by delving into darkness for a thrill.

How true Rob,I spend most of my time trying to escape fame,

i have met and talked to Mohammad Ali at a conference in L.A, California. I met and talked to James Brown, Maceo and petty much the whole group. My partner is a James Brown fanatic. One of my favorite is K.C. of the Sunshine Band.  I asked him if my partner could take a picture. He said OK. He's a great soul! Stevie Wonder.  A friend of mine use to be his girlfriend. We went to a party at his hotel room after a big program at a hotel in L>A. Sinbad at a comedy club Improv in San Jose. I took a picture with him. My niece cuts his hair in L.A. Some of the Doobie Brothers at a party, years ago. A friend of mine invited me. she hung around with movie stars, mostly musicians. she was tall beautiful and blond, a knockout. i met her mom too. she worked at a food place near a golf course. she was a beauty also and only dated millionaires. aren't some people lucky.  I met the singing group Debarge and sat at dinner table with them. They were the kindest sweetest people I've met, handsome and beautiful.  Primetime Deion Sanders at Valley Fair Mall in San Jose for some type of book or CD signing.  Very friendly and charismatic.  I love Deion.  I worked as a receptionist in San Francisco for a few years and met so many famous people.  Some of those were: Joe Namouth (x 49er). All the girls went crazy. Joan Biaz. I would vote for her for president after talking with her. Mary Wilson of the Supremes. Singer Peggy Lee. Comedian for Russia Yokuff Smirnoff. When he came to the station, he had his parents with him. The employees scared him to death, because they were so happy to see him they were yelling. i got his autograph because i loved his sense of humor about Russia.  I wonder where he is today and what he thinks about what's going on over there.  Mort Shal, he forgot his keys and i saved them for him.  All kind of politicians and folks hiding from the mafia came up there for interviews. Bobby Slayton (the pit bull of comedy). Rapper Kurtis Blow at Circle Star Theatre, before they tore it down.
