    the sum of all 2's added together is 22
    22 X 0 = 0
    0 + 6 = 6

    Something doesn't belong in this equation.Either the addition sign or the by that immediately follows it."By" can mean multiply.

    Tommyh: I agree with you about the "+by 6", but then the directions underneath (add, multiply, and plus -aka add-) led me to the conclusion offered.

        2 + 2 = 4 + 2 = 6 + 2 = 8 + 2 = 10 + 2 = 12  + 2 = 14 + 2 = 16 + 2 = 18 + 2 = 20 + 2 = 22
        22 x 0 = 0       0 + 6 = 6

            2 x 11 =22.


            22 x 0 = 22


            22 x 6 = 132.


            That's how I interpret it.

              Ummmm! I guess it's a matter of what you were taught.22 x 0 means thar 22 cannot be modified.

              Zero is nothing,so you cannot multiply any number by zero so the number remains the same.
