$640 from where? Where do you live? Citizen? Age? Disability? Skills? Education? Wife/Husband? Children? If so, how many & how old....?

Look into whatever other assistance is available to you...cash aid, food stamps, medical, section 8 housing.  You may need to share your residence with someone.  You may need to take some odd jobs (walking dogs, light housework or yardwork, babysitting) that pay cash.  Be careful not to earn too much from any one client. (Check with H&R Block or other reputable tax prep company or CPA/Accountant)

Johny, If you're talking about just getting SSI, maybe you can get more per month, if you apply for permanent disability. That's what my g.freiend had to do for her son. It took about a year of red tape
