Karndean flooring tiles are perhaps not the cheapest option, but they are arguably the best. Quickstep flooring is a wood laminate that looks and feels almost perfect.

I used to work in Mold Remediation and real or simulated wood floors, almost always were ruined from the flood or had to be pulled up to prevent mold. Synthetic would seem to be the better way to go, over real or simulated wood.

Make sure to find out if you have a flood (does it have to be completely pulled up) or can it be dried in place. That could make or break the decision you make. Good luck, hope this helped.
