How to renumber mp3-files consecutively?
My Mp3-player (Sandisk) plays the files from the audiobooks from the right hand side. Therefore it first plays chapter 1 from CD1, then chapter 1 from CD2, then chapter 1 from CD3, then chapter 2 from CD1, then chapter 2 from CD2, and so on. According to the SanDisk Help desk I need to renumber via id3.tags all files consecutively at the end of the file name from 1, 2, 3, 4,..................
Please give advice how and with which programs to do this most simply and quickly.
