My stock statement says STOCK SPIN OFF RECEIVED. What do I chose in the transition type? There is no stock spin off choice.
My stock statement says STOCK SPIN OFF RECEIVED. What do I chose in the transaction type? There is no stock spin off choice which I need to chose when I add to the securities.

Contact the company your stock it with or see if they have a help section that explains it. We do not know their procedures. This is akaQA, a worldwide general question and answer forum.

Your answer is the same as theirs. They say ask Quicken because we don't know the Quicken program. Only Quicken would know how a stock spin off would work in their program. This is an area that Quicken needs to look in to.
Hmm, it seems to me that the company you got the stock from would know this. They would have had to have set up the program. If Quicken designed it, then it was to the companies specifications. Give Quicken a try. Maybe they can help you. https://quicken.custhelp.com/app/contact/plvl1/win/
