Where can I get a chart that converts metric to .................

a conversion chart that converts the metric system to whatever you call the standard system that the U.S.A. uses . I might have heard the word before,but forgot it. At least they've been teaching U.S. school kids metric for some time now. But, industry doesn't want to use it, b/c they have to change over all their tools and calibrations, markings, systems, automation

BTW Julie.It's metric to Imperial.Except for liquid measures in the U.S.Your gallons,Quarts etc have always been uniquely American.A U.S.gallon = about 3.85 litres.An Imperial gallon = about 4.5 litres.

It's called standard math. We go by the standard system while other countries go by the metric system.

Thx, Tommy and Colleen. I was going to call it standard , but didn't want to offend the rest of the world.Didn't want to make it sound like we are so ethnocentric here in the U.S. that only our math is standard.

Now, if my printer just worked. I'll go to the library tomorrow and print it or order a metric chart . I've always wondered when I listen to Canadian stations what the temp is outside, b/c they give it in metric. And I don't have a cheat chart.
