      Try your local council Dennis, they usually deal with these things, or even the social security.

        Maybe even your friends local crematorium, good luck.

        Keep an eye to the obituary column, too.  Here, the funeral parlors place a small notice of when services are planned.  But, your friend may have no services if there was no family or other to make those arrangements.  I do hope you find out and can be in attendance for whatever memorial takes place.

          What about his neighbours, have you tried them, they might know. Local crematorium or the local vicar, I hope you manage to find out Dennis.
