    why cant I block certain individuals on Chat on FB?

    Ive tried to block different individuals or appear invisible to them t times but the little gear at the bottom never works.... so I can never block them unless I log off... Is there another way or is there are reason the little goc at the bottom of the chat page isnt working?

      Did you try advanced settings and putting their names in the "Turn on chat for all friends except..." list? Did you remember to click "save" after? That's all I know about FB chat. I never use it.
