I 've a USB to Serial device. I 've downloaded the software for that. Installed the software and my control panel shows the software in add remove programs. Still my computer doesn't recognise the hardware USB to Serial. Pls help to solve this problem.?
Removed and reinstalled. repaired and installed. still could not recognise my hardware

Since it's installed and you are still having issues, then I would say it's not the driver or you could have a virus blocking the driver. Time for a professional repair tech. Go to Best Buy and have the Geeks (that's what they call themselves) look at it.
