Hate to tell you but the older you get, the more you shrink. There's nothing you can do. Wear shoes with lifts. You can gain 1-3 inches.

When I was 9 I was 57inches tall....4'9" that's when I started growing like a weed to my present height of 6' 2". There were a lot of things I liked about being nearly 5' feet tall. My smaller size let me do many things that I could not do as well later. Those little fingers were needed in the summer to work at the Whirl Wind Computer plugging patch cords into program blocks to program the computer. Adults had larger hands and found it difficult todo the job. When home I spent many days mending our fishing nets and other jobs requiring small hands. I remember removing the birthing cord from around the neck of a infant inside her mother's woumb. It's not the sort of thing that you could forget, or want to forget. So I'm envious of your size by my memories.

I'm older than 57 and I am short, about 5'6" - It has never been a problem for me.  I can do every thing a 6' person can do, including play basketball. 

The old saying is:  'we quit growing when we are perfect, some people it takes longer to get there, we short people reached perfection much sooner!" :)

You would be a short person ... You would learn to use a big personality. If your health was ok, you'd thrive. Is that answer ok?

If you have a kind heart and a good head on your shoulders, it shouldn't matter how tall you are.  The true measure of a person is not in inches.

Brooklyn Your profile says you are 9 years old! I think you may grow a bit before you are 57years young!  Enjoy being young! It goes by very quickly!

What happens? You grow old and stay short. Increase your mind and outlook and no body will notice. Attitude, attitude, sttitude........
