First, make sure there is paper in the tray. Make sure the ink cartridges have ink. The printer will not work if one cartridge is empty. Make sure the printer is plugged in. If you are trying to print a copy from something on the computer, make sure the printer is connected to the computer. Unplug the printer for a few minutes and plug it in again.
