Depends on the country, standards are different all over the world.

    I quite like Highland Spring.

Romos - if ever I bought bottle water - it was Highland Spring - I like the spring or did I mean fizz - used to have a sodastream.

Aaaahhh!!! The 80s Pops.......Sodastream is making a comeback they say?

I don't buy bottled water. I use tap water, which I filter through a Brita system. Is it healthier? Is it better than bottled? Is it germ free? Who knows? I've filtered my water for 30 years though and I'm still walking!  (Oh maybe it's "the walking" that keeps me healthy.) Now I'm just confused.     :)

No filters in my water (f**k the Highland spring ) I love good Scottish tap water.

    LOL DUCKY ....
I know nothing about water. Just reading along.

The clean kind, make sure the cap is sealed.

    itsmee

Oh, I do agree. Yes indeed.

I am always throwing away bottles from my wife's car which she took a swig and replaced the cap, it is a health hazard, as the heat of the car, grows bacteria!  So that is not healthy no matter what brand!

    itsmee

The heat from the car IS bad. I don't like the idea of taking a swig and then recapping ... just seems ... not good. Horrible to finding last weeks morning Cheerio disintegrating in the depths.

You found Cherrios in your water bottle! ?

Bottled water - What - good old tap water for me and you can buy plastic fold up packs - fit in handbags when empty and refills with tap water which is quite safe here. I always said why do people not go into the store and say "can I have 10 or however many - I do not want to take these but will pay for them and will the company  please sent them to countries like Africa and India where there is no clean water for the children to drink." When I travelled on the underground and buses to and from hospital to see my Mother - I saw all these people with the mobile phones - listened to all these conversations and to add to this they had the bottle of water - must need accessories - boring equally in the supermarket - also with the phone they have the walk - not just the talk. No class. Since when have people been so de-hydrated I ask myself?

I don't ever remember my parents taking a drink of water...ever! We have learned though, that we NEED to drink water for a whole lot of health benefits and especially if a person has arthritis.
How are you Poppy? Nice to see you here. :)

Ducky - hi there - hope you are well - haven't been here for so long for more reasons than one. Yes I realize this and know about body rehydration - skin, kidneys circulation - necessary for everything. I have bone problems and my electrolytes to include my kidneys are just fine. Optional to carry water but why buying bottled water - bottles are thrown all over the streets here and I spend more than enough time recycling them. My comment about hydration was because it is in your face these days in the form of a bottle. Thankyou Ducky - nice to be here again for a moment - I will be back before Christmas. xo

Oh I sure understand the problem with the bottles themselves. Awful isn't it? Same here and also with take-out coffee cups, cigarette packages, chocolate bar wrappers, etc. etc. I can't believe that people feel so free to just drop everything, everywhere. :(

Ducky, You too - you would not believe how much clearing of debris I do around this house even street. These thirty something guys in the house haven't got a clue about re-cycling either and if there was an elephant on the upper steps - they would walk over it. All like they have one foot on a jumbo-jet - just about to take off - just no time for anything or should I actually say only themselves. I respect the dustmen. Sorry I sound like a sanctimonious old crab but I have more than enough adding to this clearing up after the roofers here lately. x

I drink bottled water because it is convinient. (darn no spell check) and I don't drink sodas. Tap is good for me, I keep a bottle of it in my fridge. The whole point when you get right down to it is to drink water, just water (no, tea doesn't count)..........

    itsmee

I think tea does count. Especially that nasty green stuff. I hear variations on our theme so I'm not at all positive. : )

spring water is best.........especially if it is in glass bottles. Well water is pretty good......at least better than tap city water.

The 2nd best is best is demineralized water......which means they take tap water and boil the  h- - --   out of it.

     # 3  is take any decent tap water and it in a Saychel filtering pitcher. That supposedly takes the Flouride and Cholorine out of it.

    tap water

    ROMOS

    In a bottle of course?

I drink distilled water, I like to distil my own. Been drinking that for 40 years.
