! Didn't think they still existed! In fact...in my parts, they are going to eliminate land line service for everyone.
Yup, dial up still exists. My mother is dial up but not by choice. It's the only thing she can get where she lives which is in the middle of Amish country. Not enough internet customers there to make it worth any internet provider to run lines or put in transformers.
