      Get a Facebook account. Play some of the games that require you to add friends that play the game also. www.facebook.com

        if you want more real- time  friends,  and not just virtual freinds, you have to go places where people hang out at whatever activities you're interested in ......such as roller blading ,or indoor skating, or flying remote control airplanes.
