i believe only once. it's good to get chicken pox as a child because it's dangerous to male sperm if and adult gets it.

The "virus" callled herpes zoltex (sp?) can manifest itself into "shingles: and/or tic doulereaux (again sp?) as far as I know without looking it all up...strange little virus I think (:

sorry..just saw your comment and you have a very good question...I don't know about kids getting shingles...I was led to believe it has something to do with being under stress and I'm sure there are many children who are..I have had shingles and it was many years ago...now I have the same nerve pain some 30+ years later! So, go figure, I guess..anybody out there who can enlighten me??
