    I want to get rid of this ask tool bar and every thing about it

      Go to your start menu > Control panel > add/uninstall programs > locate the ask toolbar > click uninstall

        Colleen I have done that. But it still does not go away.
        It did not let me delete the ask bar updator

        It could be an add on or extension then. Go to Tools on your browser and look for add ons or extensions.

        Well if it's a toolbar (aka browser) those are the only 2 places you will find them. If it's the ask a question button that bothers you, right click on it and select hide or delete.
