How Many Is Twelve Legion Of Angels?

Matthew 26:52-53 (King James Version)

52 - Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword

53 - Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

If Jesus had decided to destroy His tormentors during His passion, the Father would provide twelve thousand angels, and then some.

I looked it up as well. One legion in the Roman army is 6,000 soldiers. 6000 X 12 = 72,000!!!

I looked it up and there were about 6000 men in a legion so 72000 in 12 legions...Do I get another tu for trying again lol

After checking the internet, the best answer seems to be 2,500 in a legion making the total 66,000 angels.

Now according to the dictionary you get, Legion: a division of the Roman army, usually comprising 3000 to 6000 soldiers. But that's man's legion so the numbers may not be relevant.
