The DDO error indicates that the control detects the dispenser drawer open. Make sure that the dispenser drawer is fully closed. If you get this error with the dispenser drawer properly shut, then the magnet could be missing from the bottom of the drawer. Pull the drawer out and check to see if the magnet is in place. If it is missing, the magnet will need to be replaced.
If the magnet is properly in place, then the reed switch which detects the magnet could be bad.. Replacing this switch may be necessary to correct this problem.
A defective electronic control board or a wiring problem between the switch and the control board could cause this problem.
If you find the magnet properly in place and you are still getting the DDO error code, I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and fix this problem.
