because he's the only one that could raise people from the dead. He raised himself from the dead. He did many other miracles. The bible listed a lot of them, and there were many witnesses who were amazed. The Bible also says that he performed so many other healing miracles, that there were too many to mention.

Not everyone shares your faith, hasslehoff, but those who do have "faith" that what they read in the Holy Bible is a true account of a real person. Many will argue to the contrary, and many will give Him credit for existing, but not being the Messiah.
I have read a couple of books by a guy who was an atheist. His wife became a Christian and he decided to research the Christian faith, traveling all over the world to talk to historians, archaeologists, rabbis and other faith teachers. His research convinced him, concretely vs. abstractly, that Jesus is the Son of God, the Savior of Mankind.
