We can only buy 32 Paracetamal tablets at a time in the UK, is it same elsewhere in the world.

Just went to the local Boots (Chemist or Drug Store depending on where you are) to but some pain killers, asked for 2 packs of 32, and was told sorry you can only buy 32 it's the law.

Pharmacists can provide up to 100 tablets at their discretion for patients with chronic conditions, but greater amounts now require a prescription. Supermarkets may also sell 100 tablets, albeit in packs of 16.The health of the nation target was a 15% reduction in overall suicide rates by 2000. These packaging regulations aspire to reduce the incidence of deliberate and accidental overdose.

So it's the same in Australia, It just annoyed me that I am 66 years old and not allowed to make decisions for myself already.

You can always stock up. Go to various super markets or Pharmacies.

Yes that's what I did, I got 32 tablets from Boots and 32 from Supadrug which was just 50 yards away. But what I feel is you shouldn't be treated like a child, and told what you can buy.
