      Not a good idea if you want a good and lasting finish.

        No, the peeling clearcoat needs to be sanded down and primered. If you paint over peel, it will soon peel again.

          Absolutely. Many years ago, I was faced with the difficult choice between paying my tuition fees or having my car professionally painted. I chose the former but took care of the latter by painting it myself.

            What a silly question,Fishlet. Did you think that a skilled autobody artist like myself couldn't possibly handle a minor aerodynamic modification like the above ?

            Ok...tire sizing and hubcap installations are a bit too complex for me...but the rest? Pffft
