People eat meat because they are hungry and it tastes good.
There is a difference between killing indiscriminately and providing food for your family.
Murder is NOT providing food for one's family, unless you are a paid assassin and use the pay to buy food.

mcm, when a veterinarian has to euthanize a living animal because it has an illness it can not recover from, would you say the vet murdered the animal because they had to kill it through euthanasia? When a police officer has to shoot a perp who is trying to murder a person, did that police officer kill or murder the perp? When a soldier fights for defense of his/her country, are they killing or murdering? Sometimes, killing is the only right course of action. These types of killings are not murder in my opinion.

Jesus came to do away with those animal sacrifices b/c he made the one and only sacrifice for the rest of the time of the human race.And he ate mostly fish and bread

Daren, There are certain animals in the old testament, that God expressedly forbad people to eat ! ....prob b/c God knew it could cause a digestive problem . They were expressedly forbidden to eat animals without cloven hooves, and any fish or seafood that are bottom scavengers.
