Don't believe everything you hear or read itsmee. Many people lie and think nothing of it. Go right to the Salvation Army and ask to speak to the manager or whoever is in charge. Ask your question(s) directly and look the person in the eye. That is the best way to know if someone is telling you the truth or not.

Yup,my writing teacher said, "All you have to do is change the hair color in a fiction story or book. People will believe" Yes, people lie. I will do some research tonight. I'm frazzled and crazy busy at this moment.
True. Some people believe everything that they are told because the teller is convincing. Always better to ask the source...even if it seems to be an "ugly" question.

I guess they could. I'm very upset about this but I do know that people can write anything they want. Ooooph!
If it's the truth, I need to know. We all need to know. I think it's probably some crackpot just trying to get in print. Is it?!
I've heard some bad stories about Salvation Army but I can not verify if they are true as they were told to me by others. I do not think you would like it though. They'll put you in a store out back sorting through dirty cloths probably. Just a guess. Talk to them. See what they have that you can do.
