When I was almost 17 my best boyfriend was decapitated by a drunk driver who sped through a red light. Micheal was on his way to work at 5 in the morning...he and his pride and joy Barracuda were both massacred by that drunken dude who fled on foot only to be tracked by dogs...he got 6 whole years behind bars and was out in two....Micheal never recovered...he was dead at the scene with his beautiful head with it's long dark hair laying out on some strangers lawn...I don't give a sh*t about drunks who choose to drive...they can all rot in hell as far as I'm concerned.

She is 44 years old and has demonstrated, 6 times, that she will not obey the law. There is no other option in my opinion and it should have happened sooner than that! People know better than to drive drunk. They just choose to do whatever they want without any regard to the lives of others! I don't want her driving on the same roads where my family and friends are driving! Yes. Lock her up so no one dies because of her!

After 6 DUI's It is a miracle she has not killed someone. Just how to keep these idiots from behind the wheel?? If it takes a life sentence then so be it! I watched a friend suffer the loss of his son who was sitting at a stop light while a drunk hit his vehicle doing 70 mph. This friend was devastated. His sons girlfriend was also killed! Sorry I have NO sympathy for a 6 times drunk driver! And thats only how many times she was caught.

Some folk will not quit. That is why we have laws. Do the laws help? Only to keep some folk from getting behind the wheel of a car. That is why we have prisons. If nippin the end of a finger off would prevent a person from driving drunk the courts would do that. In Russia a compound was tried that if the person drank alcohol it would kill them....they died.

A lengthy prison sentence sounds good to me. While I couldn't find the full article, six DUI arrests and convictions are more than enough. Read lindilou's answer, and add my cousin's death (while driving home from work one early morning), my friend and his GF (rear-ended while at a stoplight on his motorcycle) to the list.
While we are at it, anything this woman receives or inherits during her incarceration should be confiscated to pay for her "upkeep".
The consequences for drunk driving here are very pricey, but that doesn't stop some/most from continuing to drink and drive, even when licenses have been suspended or revoked. Jail time is usually abbreviated due to overcrowding.
I don't know if we need more prisons and jails, or just fewer people.

I love it.
Not unless she killed someone. I'm sure this will be appealed.

edited because of the concern my above comment caused.
I do not care about the points. Just a thank you if you are out of TUs is fine. No IOU is needed.
