    -4+(*6)+3-(-5)
    I do not know what (*6) represents, but I can figure out the rest of it for you:

    -4 + 3 - (-5)       When you subtract a NEGATIVE (-5), it becomes the opposite and you ADD
    -4 + 3 + 5      3 + 5 = 8    8 - 4 = 4.  Then do whatever (*6) means with the 4 you have.


    Re: the -5:   When you subtract a negative number, you are actually deleting it.  To reflect the fact that it is being deleted, you ADD that amount.
