      So that a very sick monster of a human being is never eligible for parole.

        The prison system is screwy. A murderer can get out on parole now days. Adding a 1000 years guarantees that won't happen.

          The need for harsh sentencing is to prove a point. Any heinous crime will be dealt with accordingly.
