      What kind of disk a 3-1/2" floppy or a CD type, I had the same problem, mine was on the 3-1/2" floppy and I had to get a 3-1/2" floppy drive that would plug into my newer Mac to transfer the files.

        How was the disc formatted? You should just be able to put the disc in your mac and open all the files.
