    Instructions
    1
    Power up your computer.

    2
Open the "Start" menu, then click on "Control Panel."

    3

Click on "Region and Languages," then select the "Keyboards and Languages" tab.

    4
Click on "Change Keyboard," then click "Add."

    5
Locate "Korean" from the list of available languages, and click on it to expand the available options for Korean. Check the box next to "Keyboard" and "Microsoft IME," and then click "Apply." This will install the necessary files to support a Korean keyboard, and allow you to type in Hangul. You may be asked to restart your computer after the installation is complete.

    6
Plug the keyboard cable into an unused USB port on your computer if it is not already connected. Then open a text-editing program such as Notepad or Microsoft Word.

    7
Press the "Ha/En" button located near the space bar on your Korean keyboard. This button is included on most Korean keyboards and switches input between Hangul and Roman characters. Try typing in both modes to ensure that your computer is properly reading your chosen inputs. If you are still having trouble with the keyboard, check the manufacturer's website for drivers that you may need to install for complete support.
