Learn how to apply make up properly, too much can be a disaster, the big stores usually have consultants, they can be very helpful (mind you they are also out to sell their products) the new mineral make ups are quite good and not too heavy, but find out what type of skin you have and what colours suit you best

"Make-up and paint make you what you ain't". If you're beautiful already, you don't need it. If not, there's plenty of stuff out there that can work wonders.
