        My basement is always backing up and it is so annoying! I got a flood alarm to temporarily solve the issue but, eventually, I'll need to call a plumber. I wonder if my drains are severely blocked and that's why it keeps backing up. http://www.plumbingrichmond.com.au/blocked-drains/

        Blocked drains are often caused by fat congealing in the pipes, so never put molten fat down the drain. I read that the problem is so bad in London they are burning the fat in a power station to generate electricity.
