    Troubleshoot 1998 GMC 1/2 ton truck anti lock break system

    ABS light is on and break pedal is hard to push, has new power booster.  Is there something wrong with the ABS module?

      If the brake pedal is hard to push then either the booster is not working or the brake lines need to be bled or the brake fluid pump may have failed. Who did the work putting the booster in? They may have done something wrong. Have them double check their work.
