how to adjust or replace shift cable for transmission on 2001 ford f 150 extended cab xlt 4.6 engine automatic
for example to get truck in reverse you have to have shifter in neutral , or for overdrive you have to have shifter in drive. I would like to know how to check to see if the cable can be adjusted or if i need to repace the cable ? I was told there is a cable in the steering collum and one exterior cable, how would I know which is bad if this is true?
