The wedding is going to be in Southern California where the movie stars roam. Real fancy. I bought some ivory paper that was gorgeous and expensive. I ruined the wrapping paper as I was doing my job. So ..... Is the pink paper ok?
This question is driving me nuts. I can’t find an answer anywhere. I’m nervously awaiting an answer, I don’t want my bright package to stand out on the table. Everything else will be white, or ivory or palest of pink. And voila! there will stand my bright bright pink package.
Maybe others will use bright colors?

Who cares! What's INSIDE is the big deal.
You could draw attention from the paper with a beautiful white ribbon and lace.. Make the "bow" look like a miniature bouquet with some artificial rosebuds, different shades of pink. Add a sprig of those little white balls...it will look like pearls. It will look great.

I like your choice of colors. If they open gifts as part of the post marriage party she may choose to open such a suggestively colored gift last as its color may hint a bedroom garment... may be concealed within….unless the gift is a pop-corn popper, and the red paper is wraped to reveal its shape which would be humorous to open as a wedding gift.
