A balut or balot is a developing duck embryo that is boiled and eaten in the shell.
I can't imagine it would take a lot of time to eat this. Like oysters on the half shell, suck it in chew a little or just swallow without chewing.
But as for your grammar, if you believe it takes time to eat balut, then the grammar is fine.
