You're attempting to over tach. The red line is the cut off line. Your engine is designed to cut out to preserve itself. As soon as you hit that red line, it cuts the fuel to the engine. The red line restrictor is there for idiots who like to over tach and end up blowing their engine seals and killing their engines. Stop doing it.
