In my life, falling in love has been a realization that I can’t live without her, an unfolding of future events involving this other person that is like a bridge over troubled waters, a sudden all consuming memory of our lives together for thousands of years in the past and in the future also. A pause between heart beats when the scent of flowers filled my senses and overwhelmed my reality to carry me into a dream-like state of bliss…to then awaken to her face. I pursued this fleeting feeling and sought to understand its overwhelming mirth that became uncontrollable laughter lasting two weeks.

Since then, happy is my constant companion.

if you can't eat and you can't sleep and you think about the object of your affection ALL the time. And you feel on top of the world. it's kinda like a happy obsession; and like a euphoria.
