    Driverless cars anyone?

Google and others are developing autonomous cars which would have several advantages: Fewer accidents, reduced congestion, less driver fatigue, higher speed limits,  no restriction on occupants - could be drunk, under age, blind etc, no parking problems- drop off passengers then return later, less parking space required, fewer traffic cops, lower insurance, improved fuel economy.

    Appealing or not?

    Two questions, INFRASTRUCTURE? PRICE?

Initial cost would be huge but some infrastructure exists now such as GPS and lower costs of hospital treatment and fuel economy would lead to lower costs overall.
