    I have recieved an email informing me that I have won an large amount in a lottery in UK. Is there any way to determine if this not a scam?

    It is a scam, no authorised lottery companies in the UK send emails to winners, remember, if you aint in it you aint gonna win it.

    It's a "NO BRAINER"!  Hit the delete button & forget about it.

    If it's a UK lottery, it's a scam. If it's a Nigerian lottery won by the ex-King-in-exile's half-sister's cousin, it would be worth looking into.

    1. you did not buy this lottery


    2. you don't know the email sender from Adam


    3. why does some body in the UK suddenly likes you and wants to know your account#s so they can deposit millions of pounds sterling into your account.
