PCOD makes you prone to weight gain (as you know). The best way to control this is to maintain a healthy balanced and calorie controlled diet. There are different ways to do this but one of the easier tools available now is My fitness pal. ( http://www.myfitnesspal.com) This can be accessed either online or as an app for smartphones. It makes things nice and easy to keep track of, you go through the set-up process where you decide what your goals are etc. I Would say as a PCOD sufferer, when choosing your weekly weight loss goal, set it higher that you want it to be in reality as you will loose less than predicted.
Just loosing the extra weight itself can really kick the symptoms into touch. Good luck!
