    I think the key word here is "RANDOM".  With that in mind, I would think "Yes, it is impossible..."
    But what do I know.   

    From what I have seen, computer generated randomness appears predictable because of the formula used to generate the random number. The quest for randomness continues but influencing factors reveal their link to origin. The appearance of rogue waves in ocean waters are now understood and make such events predictable. Similarly, biological rhythms may provide predictors to all sorts of events. I think all seemingly random events are simply beyond the ability of the observer to understand.
