    The rubbger came wrapped around the thermostat and we need to know where it goes if it even goes into the 1999 Ford Crown Victoria?

    This is the thermostat I spoke of on my last question. We had a cracked manifold and repaired that with jen-weld now we need to know how to put the thermostat back into the car so it does not leak and we can get the car on the  road.

      The thermostat should go into a housing. The housing will have a seal.
