To remove MSGTAG from your computer, right-click on the MSGTAG icon in your system tray and click 'Exit'. Alternatively, on MSGTAG itself, choose 'Options' >> 'Exit'. Choose 'Yes' to close down MSGTAG (your settings will automatically be restored when you do the next step).
Then go to
'Start' >> 'Settings' >> 'Control Panel' >> 'Add/Remove Programs'
Select MSGTAG and click 'Change/Remove'.
