Which operating system do you have in your computer? When the alarm sounds, do you get a message that pops up alerting you to an issue?

Alarm??  If this alarm is coming from the Motherboard or is it a software alarm?  Most bio chips have coded 'beeps' this is a Motherboard warning that something is not right--could be a multitude of problems. Many times its because of overheating, a fan stopped working, etc.
