    hdtv antenna's that are being sold as  replacement for paid cable use

      I think an antenna will give you high definition but you are not going to get cable channels or satellite channels.Those suppliers are in business to make money. You see You pay!

        Antennas will not supply HDTV unless there is a de-coder somewhere in the system.
