the politics and the pressure of nursing. ---I was an LPN - - --drove me out of the profession. They gave too many patients to one nurse to take care of. It can't be done. Ditto for the nurses aids. So, I changed careers at 31. I went to collage all year 'round for 5 years while I was still working as a nurse. Paid for my tuition myself. I majored in Special Ed. and Reg. Ed. . They made us take 2 student teachings.
