With cleaning out moms house I came across an old rosary, If I remember, Dad drove school bus back in the 1930's and found in on the bus but nobody claimed it. Everyone in our family is Lutheran so it is of no use to us. All the Catholics I know already have theirs, I really don't know what to do with it or what protocol to follow if there is any. Any ideas?

I kept my Grandmother's and all of her other things. One by one I am finding a place for them. Her miniature Jesus on the Cross now lives inside of a glass fronted box shaped like a cross that was hand made in Mexico. I collect naïve and religious art/hand made items. Her items fit in perfectly with my collection when I find the right place for them to live.
I think Ducky's idea of asking the priest at the local Catholic Church is a brilliant idea.
