    Did you know that today is National Potato Chip Day in the USA?

    Hmmm, neither did I until I got an e-mail from Subway for free chips with a sub for national chip day. I had to go look this up and apparently we really do hove such a day. So in honor of the day, please post your favorite potato chip/s. We can make this Universal chip/crisp (UK) day. :)

    This is my most favorite potato chip.

    I use to be like that. Not anymore. If I ever need a chip soaked in salt, I'll get a can of Pringles. ;)

    Many new flavors, the Cheddar is good, so are the original Lays, and the Salt and Vinegar, and the Jalapeno, anything but BBQ, I do not like them...

    Not really keen on potato chips but these are the best I've tasted.

    Thanks for the offer BM. I'm better off not liking them ;)

    Chips are what the Brits call 'crisps'. Chips to Brits are what the rest of the world calls 'fries'.

    My father used to buy 'Shoestring Potatoes' in a can. Oily and salty. They would be a cross-breed of both crisp and fry.
    I loved them as a child, wouldn't eat them today.
    millie111

    marmite crisps or tomato ketchup flavour..(ie cats up to most of you guys)!:-)yum!

    I can remember years ago when Smith's Crisps were delivered by dark blue vans. You cpould sound your horn and the driver would stop and sell you a bag of crisps. Probably 1950's.

    Sorry, I didn't mean to take up so much space;
    Walkers have been making potato chips since 1948.

    Hahaha, I remember that commercial. I have no clue if today is a special day. Apparently according to the people on Facebook, yesterday was also pie day or was it Pi day.......they had me confused with all the pie and pi postings.

    No wonder they are called Patato heads,

    I have not had their "canned" chips. Are they like Pringles?
    chelleanne

    They are similar! Lays chips are thicker and not as salty. At least not to me! They just taste better!
